Get Ready for the Release of New Apple TV in September
Apple has been making plenty of announcements over the past year and it looks like the new products unveiling isn’t over with apparently a new Apple TV to be launching this September. This is the time when the new announced iPhones will be making their appearance and Apple might then take on the opportunity to introduce even more attractive gadgets for their customers.
Among the new features expected, there would be a stronger processor (A8), more storage and some rethinking when it comes to how the device and remote handle. This would be the fifth version of the product and some customers are hoping that it means changes to how the Apple TV feel on the screen as well. A new interface could possibly be on the horizon with this new product, and the controller could be transformed in a more touch format to reflect most of the devices we use today. So, a more modern Apple TV would be expected when it’s fully revealed this fall.
Is a touchpad on the remote really necessary? For some customers, it might stand as an enhancement in terms of how the device looks and feels, but depending on how you want the Apple TV to feel like a normal television, you might have different feelings about it. It’s great to have a remote that at least feels classic while you have all the modern features on-screen, and besides the compatible Apple mobile devices are currently doing the work when it comes to touch. The new processor might be an enhancement for more performance all across the board, but a new remote might not necessarily please everybody. But in any case, as long as the little device is of good quality customers should be happy with getting the newer version of Apple’s latest creation.
Something known as Siri is also rumored to be included in the package, allowing the user to communicate and interact with the device more effectively through voice commands. This would allow à more complete experience in the living room, perhaps taking into account what Microsoft is looking to offer with their current Xbox One when it comes to scrolling through media content.
Of course then, what will count the most to customers is the content that will be offered along with the device, and the news are looking good in that regard as well. On the music side, Apple Music is also coming for Apple and perhaps rock, hip-hop and pop could play a bigger role in how people want to enjoy the Apple TV.
Since its first release in 2007, the Apple TV has seen the inclusion of many services that go beyond the expectations of what someone would expect from a standard TV such as video streaming from the web through YouTube and Vimeo and then from more specialized apps like those from different sport networks. Through different apps, the content is generally very easy to rate and scroll, which makes for more accurate picks for what the user wants to see.
Also, just like any device from Apple, the Apple TV is a very interesting device by itself in terms of technology. It’s able to interact with other devices wirelessly such as a computer or the different iOS devices such as the iPhone.
Overall, the latest news and rumors from Apple seem to be on the positive side, and with the current possibilities that web streaming is offering, this generation of Apple TV might be a very important one. It will then be key that Apple get this product right, from the software, to the interface and the remote. The product has been around for a while, but it may become more relevant than ever as people consider this type of product more and more. The announcement with the new line of iPhones would make sense and there might be plenty of Apple products for people to put their hands on once Christmas time comes around from the look of things. Better offering from Apple when it comes to music, apps and other content will also come into play when people will choose their products over theirs. Hardware isn’t always everything.
