New Releases of Android Smartphones in 2016

2016 is definitely a year when many new Android smartphones will see the light of day. Here we will cover some of the features, specifications, prices and expected release dates of the following phones.

Samsung Galaxy Note6

This new Smartphone is to be release in the 3rd Quarter of 2016 that is between Septemer-December2016.with this phone Samsung will include a few of new features which were not seen in its previous Smartphone.Note6 will be announced with 64 and 128 GB internal memory with dual micro SD cards. In this phone the eye scanner will be improved to be more responsive and will take less time to register. Another important feature is its faster charging and is expected to charge 40% of battery in 4mins. It is also rumoured that we can see Note6 Exynos version with 16-core processor of Samsung that would be accompanied with foldable or bendable display, fingerprint or retina sensor and wireless charging.Note6 is also reported to be dustproof, shockproof and have barometer, SPO2, Thermometer, heartrate sensor. Some specification of this phone are as it follows:

• 8Gb RAM
• 16/32/64/128 Gb internal memory ( some reports have stated Samsung is working on to use 256Gb too)
• 3D-4K screen
• 30MP primary and 16MP secondary camera
• Fast and wireless charging technology and 4500mAh battery
• SnapDragon Qualcomm octa-core 2.9GHz processor
• 6”-6.2”inches 4K screen
• Android- Marshmallow v6.0 (it can also have Android N since Google may finish working on it by summer).
• It is estimated to be around 1000-1200$(not yet confirmed)

HUAWEI P9

The phone is expected to be released around April 2016. P9 have a few new features like compass, Fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity sensors. It is said that P9 will be released in its 4 version- The Standard, The Pro, The Max, The Lite.It will also have the protection of corning gorilla glass 4. The phone will have PS-NEO LCD display with 1080 x 1920 pixels. Here are some of its specifications:

• 3-4 GB ram
• Supports GSM/HSPA/LTE network
• 32/64 Gb internal memory and can be expanded up to 128 Gb
• 5.2” inches screen with 6.4mm thickness
• 12MP primary camera and 5MP secondary camera with geotagging, auto focus, HDR, face/smile detection
• Android- Marshmallow v6.0 with HlSilicon Kirin 950 Chipset and 2.3 GHz quad core processor

The recent leaks shows the price of the 4 versions to be as it follows: The standard- 499US$, the Pro-599US$, The Max- 699US$, The Lite-299US$

One Plus3

The phone is expected to be released in the 2nd Quarter of 2016.the phone will have LTPS-IPS LCD capacitive display with 1080 x 1920 pixels. It will be protected by corning gorilla glass 4.it is also reported to have features like compass, fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro and proximity sensor. It will also come equipped with NFC. ONE PLUS 3 is said to be coming out in2 versions. Here are its specs:

• 32 Gb with 4Gb RAM and 64 Gb with 6Gb RAM
• Supports GSM/HSPA/LTE network
• 5.5” inches screen size
• 16MP primary camera( f/1.8,OIS,laser autofocus, dual -LED flash )and 8MP secondary camera ( f/2.0 1080p with 1/2.6” sensor size) with autofocus,HDR,Geotagging, face detection
• Android- Marshmallow v6.0 with Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 chipset and Dual Core 2.15 kyro and 1.6 Dual-Core kyro
• Bluetooth- v4.2 A2DP,LE
• GPS- yes

It is estimated to cost around $400.

Moto X 2016

Although not much is known about the upcoming mobile but it is possible it will be released around spring of 2016. This phone is supposed to have a cooling system within it and is protected by corning gorilla glass 4. Here are a few specifications:

• 3GB RAM
• Supports GSM/HSPA/LTE network
• Dual sim
• 5.4”-5.7” inches screen size
• 20MP + primary camera and nothing is known about its secondary camera
• Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor
• Android- Marshmallow v6.0

It is estimated to be around 400-450 $.
