Introduction

The LG G4 has been around for a while in the media. The phone has been pretty much hyped, I must say. This doesn’t mean we are not waiting for it and being sceptic about it, the truth is, we always like to see a product in its real life form before making any judging articles about it. I, personally, like to review products that has been in my hand at least once in my life. I trust myself in making my reviews, so our readers can see my personal experience about the product. No need to have another person’s opinion about the specific product to know what specifications it has.

Let’s see what LG has for now. They have introduced their upcoming flagship smartphone’s, the LG G4’s, brand new camera. The camera that they release with the phone will be unique in several ways. I will show you how unique and special this camera of this brand new phone will be, but later in this article. Firstly, we will introduce you around the whole company behind the device, LG, and cameras in general.

About LG

LG has been in the market for a while now. The company has become a huge monolith during the years. They have started as a small Korean company, but they have emerged to a huge multinational giant.

LG is a Seoul-based Korean consumer electronics manufacturer, who has made quite a reputation during the years. The company has been on the market for a while since it was founded in 1958 during the aftermath of the Korean War. The name of the company was Goldstar back then (I even had an old Goldstar TV), then it was renamed to LG. The goal of LG was to provide homemade consumer electronics to Korea. As they had reached this goal, they were ready to move on. They broke into the Asian market, then to the European and the American. That move made LG a multinational company and a worldwide known and accepted the brand.

The company has been the leader in TV manufacturing along with Samsung. However, LG is making tons of other products, mostly consumer electronics, such as smartphones. With the G series, the company has made a successful break into the cell phone market and obtained a great share of it.

Cameras and their Problems

Nowadays, most people prefer to take photos with their smartphones’ cameras. However, most smartphones have pretty poor quality cameras and they take quite bad quality photos with them. Most photos are good for posting it on a social network to laugh with friends or with your family on them. However, photos shot at night are pretty bad. Maybe horrible would be the best word to fit right here. The eyes on the photos are turning to red, or just staying white all the time, like if everybody would be drunk. That could turn out to be pretty funny for most people, but you don’t like to look drunk on a corporate photo posing with your boss and colleagues.

Another issue is with the front cameras. Selfies have become pretty popular nowadays, and as most people know, you have to take them with your front cameras. Front cameras are always worse than the one on the back of your phone. For example, my Xperia M2 takes so bad quality photos with it that I would almost cry myself to sleep if I could do that. Photos are always black and blurred with that phone.

The LG G4’s Brand New Camera

The LG G4 will have a new camera that will have 80% more light on the photos as on the other devices made by other companies. That’s pretty great, so you don’t have to go into a night vision mode to take photos at night. I think that’s one of the best improvements that a company can do regarding cameras.

Verdict

I think the LG G4 will be a great device, especially with the new improvement on the camera. It will be much more superior as its predecessors, so it will most probably one of the best series in the history of the company!
