Basically Phablets are hybrids between smartphones and tablets. Since they feature a big wide screen, they can deliver speedy graphic performance thus enabling users to play video games like never before. Because of their size, their manufacturers had more flexibility to tamper under the hood and create powerful features for everyone to enjoy.

Huawei’s Honor 4x Design

At a first glance, you can see the plastics, but still feels good enough to take some beating. The device weighs around 170 grams; perfect to get a firm grip. The front panel of Honor 4x can easily get mistaken for a cheaper phone. However the back panel is nicely textured and with a neat camera. The casing is firm enough to use without any additional protection. The Phablet has a single speaker located at the bottom and is clear enough for playing video games and making phone calls.

Huawei’s Honor 4x Features and Display

Since the device supports a dual 4G SIM card, users can enjoy high-speed mobile data. The battery is large, and it will endure a whole day of calls, playing games, texting and everything else users come up with. This device has a feature that turns it into a dumbphone; that means that you will be able to use the management tools and have the Phablet handle only the calls and text messages. That’s the way to save the battery, and make it last even up to 70 hours. The screen is neat and bright and nicely reproduces colors. It is sharp and clear enough to read and watch anything your heart desires.

Huawei’s Honor 4x Camera

The back camera features 13 MP and is suitable for shooting 1080p video, and a 5 MP snapper in the front panel which is suitable for shooting 720p video. These features are pretty decent when compared with the price. When the light is right, the front camera will be able to take clear selfies. Plus there is a Beautify function whose use is to smoothen the features.

The rear camera is quite good for details and color. The camera application is basic, and you can only use it to turn on HDR and control the focus.

Huawei’s Honor 4x Performance

The performance of this device is smooth and without glitches. You will switch between apps, settings, and the home screen smoothly and quickly. This Phablet is no slouch.

Verdict

This device offers a lot compared with the price. It is fairly well built and runs smoothly. A large screen gives the phone a special touch and enables its users to enjoy graphics. The battery life is also another thing this device has to show off. With this price in mind, you will have difficulties finding a Phablet with better features. If you are on a budget, than this device should be taken into consideration.
